Anyone dismantled the street cannons and done a bafflectomy? They clearly can be dismantled, just curious if its worth it. My bike runs so much better with them compared to previous exhausts... jut a touch quiet!
The bike has SE/K&N ventilator replacement filter and a standard load stage 1 tune.
I did a bafflectemy to the stock mufflers on my 2018 Low Rider. I did it because I wanted to keep the cats while getting better sound. I thought the street cannons were too close to stock sound because although they have a straight through baffle it has a small dia. I put a 1-7/8" louvered baffle in and wrapped it in order to get the low deep tone without the harsh crack.
I sawed the rear ends off and pulled the old baffles out the rear. The cats are separate and stayed in. I had to do a little fabrication to fit the new baffles.
I machined some new aluminum rear caps, nothing fancy. They sound great, not too loud at all. I've been running them for a couple years now and over 20,000 miles.
