There was a post on here with the same issue. I believe they tilted the windscreen back towards the rider approx 1”, with a bracket extension on the lower mount.

I have a 19 Heritage with stock saddle and windshield. The JES fangs will definitely reduce the amount of buffeting you are experiencing. I just bought some and believe me they are worth every dollar.

Cool Heritage Buffeting

Some experience it and some don't. I've tried every size and angle. Different helmets and even the ugly a.. fangs. Spent way to much money. I'm convinced that it all boils down to how tight you where your helmet. Nobody who goes helmet-less has a buffeting problem. Do yourself a favor and throw the shield in the trash. Clean air. No buffeting.

Then get one of these.

A smaller and more angled = plenty of body wind protection and smooth airflow around your helmet. I can ride comfortably at 80mph+ with this screen and no buffeting.

Fork fangs will help move the air around you somewhat. A Longride curved wind screen will put the turbulent air above your helmet if you measure an inch taller than they recommend. Buying or fashioning a down turn deflector to mount to the bottom of the nacelle will do two things. 1. keep air from hitting the front of the tank and curling up in to your chest area. 2. it will direct air more effectively in to the cooling fins and equate to a cooler running engine/oil temperature. These are the things that worked for me on my 2010 softail.

The other very simple item is it could be your helmet. I find my 19 to be one of the calmest bikes I have ever owned and theres been a lot...

I took off the windshield, have fork fangs, and like it much better like that. No bags either. Looks cool. No buffeting. Got up to 90 today, just clean air on my modular full face helmet. Ditch the 'shield.

I agree somewhat with previous post, rode out to Sturgis this past summer on my 2020 Low Rider without a windshield, no problem. will say though that a windshield does keep a lot of bugs off of you.
