Default Motorcycle dolly for 2018+ Heritage

Hello,

I was looking at the motorcycle dolly at Harbor Freight to help move my 2019 Heritage around in the garage.

Does anyone have experience with this Dolly? Any issues with a 2018+ Heritage fitting? Any other dolly you would recommend instead?

Thank you

I would not recommend. I had one and it’s too narrow for rear tire. Poor overall quality.

J&S jacks are solid performers. Not cheap, but if you can find a used one, they're a good value.

I would highly recommend the lift and dolly from Let’s Roll. It’s a two-piece package that includes the lift and the dolly; if you already have the lift, you can buy just the dolly. It works excellent on my 2020 RGL. It wasn’t cheap, but I just couldn’t trust my new $30k+ HD to a $99 HF jack or something from fleabay. The other option for me was the condor mentioned above - I chose the Let’s Roll as it gets the wheels off the ground and allows for better maintenance/cleaning, etc. It also takes up less real estate on the garage floor when either in use, or not. With my bike on the dolly, I can now roll it into a tight spot in the back of my garage without issue, plug in the battery tender and cover it up.

The added bonus for me is when it’s time to roll out, I can spin it around so that I’m leaving straight out of the garage rather than backing the bike out. When pulling in, I just pull straight in. Best mod money I’ve spent yet. I was able to buy a demo unit that had some scratches that was used at a show for a nice discount. Give them a call and see what they have.

I'll throw in my experience. I have a lift I've used for years for my touring bike. Yes, it's the cheap Sears model, but it has been dependable and it does the job. I've had no issues using it to move my touring bike around the garage.

Because of the location of and the design of the jiffy stand on the Heritage, you are limited on where you can position a lift, jack or what have you. Getting the jack positioned under the frame can be challenging.

As far as the Harbor Freight Low Profile Motorcycle Dolly, I have no experience with it, so I can't comment.
