I have one. Its comfort for the rider is about the same on my Sport Glide, but the comfort for the pillion is significantly better.
If anything it's slightly lower but not significantly so. Your passenger will sit slightly higher.

These two responses contradict each other. One says the rider sits lower and the other higher. Maybe it is due to different bikes? Which considering we are talking about the same framed bikes would also be strange.
