Sad and happy at the same time
I love this bike. Near perfect for me. My first HD and probably my last one for remaining years as a biker.
If I were to choose a bike right now in 2021, well not sure it would be a HD...
HD isnt canceling models because they dont like them, but because they arent selling enough to warrant making them.
Dont blame HD for making cuts to unpopular things. Blame the motorcycle community for not buying them in enough numbers to keep them in production.
HD isnt doing this to spite people, or to influence the market and force people to buy speciific bikes. They're trimming what doesnt sell. And HD isnt the only one doing this either.
Almost every Japanese company and European company has cut their big twin cruisers too. The only Japanese one left is Suzuki
Indian did too, they dont make any standard chiefs anymore they're all gone. They only make 2 versions of the Vintage and thats it.
And its not just Big twins getting the axe across the industry either. 600 supersports, and specialist bikes like the VMAX are getting axed too.
The older Low Riders with the narrow glide front were a look apart with the Sporty front end but the M8 one went the wrong way style wise , for me.
The Wide Glide was never going to stay as it really was competition to the Break out , sorry guys I would of kept the Wide Glide and ditched the Breakout.
For better or worse Harley is changing and most of us are not.
