Moonshine Harley does awesome work as I've watched a lot of their videos and they're pretty knowledgeable. I just hate how far away they are from me lol. What shops in the south Texas area do you guys recommend? One thing I like about Moonshine, if you have any extended warranty and they build your bike, they honor any issues at any Harley dealer.

There are numerous reputable and thorough builders much closer than TN. Moonshine does a good job of marketing, creating video content and building hype on their YouTube channel thats for sure....but in TX and AZ there are numerous top builders. You can surely find a top notch builder in TX. AZ near the Phoenix area has one of the largest concentration on HD motor shops.
As far as Moonshine HD warranty, it wont be much of use if they are the ones who warranty their work in TN and youre in TX. Regardless what marketing they promote, if they install aftermarket parts on a new HD, only they can take ownership of the warranty work at their own dealer in TN. Also keep in mind some of the specials they are promoting such as a free 131 kit with a new FXLRS or touring model are specials dealers across the country are doing as well right now during the down season. In addition, many dealers who install aftermarket parts on a new HD also offer to warranty the work for 2 yrs....so its not unique to Moonshine. Nothing against Moonshine, its great video content, but its a lot of marketing and promoting.

Moonshines warranty is an add on warranty. It costs extra it isnt just a free guarantee. Thats why its nationwide coverage. You breakdown in Texas , you get it fixed in Texas under the warranty. Im currently having my fxlrs built there. But, they are only 45min from me.

Thats interesting Moonshine makes you pay extra to warranty their own work. Other HD dealers who do aftermarket installs that void warranties (for instance a S&S big bore kit and aftermarket tuner added to a brand new bike ) claim to warranty their own work, no extra charge (but its only valid at that dealer).....I assumed Moonshine did as well.

They cover their work, I went with an extended 5yr warranty thru them.which covers you nationwide. If you sell the bike coverage can stay with the bike or theyll pay you back for remainder of coverage.
