I am hoping you all can help. I am looking to move my forward controls back a little bit and wondering if that is possible?
Also looking for best advice on stage one exhaust and lowering kit. The exhaust needs to be black. I cannot do all of the chrome that is on this bike. LOL
Right now I am looking at the Kodlin lowering kit.
Any help or advice you all might have would be great.
Not sure about the oem forwards, usually aftermarket have some adjustability like inch forward or back. Or get mids. A different seat may sit you better in the bike and on the controls. Exhaust you have a ton of options. Most do 2-1 tbr, bassani, cobra etc. more personal preference at that point. Lowering mount others have run and havent had any issues and wont want change the dampening characteristics of the shock. Looks easy to install. And the photos of the drop looked good.
adjustable forwards arent cheap heres a link for one, thunderbike makes some too. But looking 800 and up across the board. https://www.hawghalters.com/2018-up-softail-forward-controls.html
HD made a reduced reach kit for forwards for dynas that shortened reach an inch. Not sure if theres an m8 version.

Do you know what lowering kit they have used. I have been all over the internet and found two that will work. One looks to be better quality than the other.
For lowering just put a legends air ride. Great for slammed low look when you want it and get higher for highway. Way more functional and much better ride then stock
I couldn’t find any reasonable way to move the boards back so I put the reach seat on to push me forward a bit instead. It worked for me and a lot less hassle and cost. I since traded the bike but I have the reach seat for sale in Softail classifieds should you decide to go down that route.
I put the V&H big shots staggered on because I didn’t want to change the lines of the bike too much. Sounded awesome but not obnoxious.
