Hello, folks, Harley riders. I have been riding for 30 years, starting Soviet JAVA 350 in 1986. Then there was a line of all sort of bikes. Japanese and Germans. Friday I got my first ever Harley - Sport Glide 2021. During the weekend I made one thousand miles and I am ready for my first service next week. Somehow, being 51, I now understand tattoos "Born To Ride". is it normal? It is like my 51 yo wifey accidently left me and 26 yo Thai girl fell in love for no Green Card in sight. Dudes, I am joined with this machine like fkng terminator. I will run away from home if needed

Lol! Glad you are enjoying your new Harley. Felt the same way when I got my first HD in 1975.
Well. Out of large engines I rode Vulcan for a while. 1800. you may ride it straight pretty comfortable. leave alone anything else. I rode Triumph for a year and Honda for a few. BMW I tested rode from a friend for about a 1200 miles. The new ugly one. I could excuse the looks but the riding matches the looks. However all are (were) nice bikes. Reliable as army equipment. Riding wise not so much. I just hope that HD will be reliable too.
