Another @DK Custom Products home run (IMO) with their products. I know the 114 M8 intake's high flowing, but wanted my own look. Planned to install external breather to stock, but thought it would be better to go all out w/ entire intake + breather/catch can. Really pleased w/ the install & like the stealthy look of their product. Enjoy!
Before you go with a breather mod on the intake, I'd say take a look at the transmission top cover vent system.
Ron's Workshop on youtube has been testing it and has found that it seems just a transmission cover mount works out the best, and there isnt a need for your the aircleaner breather to be externally vented.
TRASK sent me a sheet of paper with my CheckM8 transmission vent saying that if you don't have a design pump that has the O-ring Seal on it, that you'd need to install the new pump or the vented trans case, or dipsticks can push oil out of the breathers.
