Default Lorecapo's FXLRS

I thought that maybe it would be nice to share with you my bike and its modifications.
Most of them came out from what I found here, so it's mainly thank to this forum you if it looks like this today.

I started in May 2020 with the purchase with the following options already included: Stage I with Vance&Hines ProPipe 2in1 exhaust, forward controls, sissybar and Cruisetec tyres:

Then I bought the Bung King 8" risers keeping the standard handlebar and de SDC bag

In the beginning of this year I added: an higher Fat Bob shock with external ****, a C&C Squareback seat with driver backrest and the front axle covers from Thunderbike

Later this year I put led turning lights from HD, Custom Dynamics tail light, even if the most inportant care was given to the engine: I opened the heads to paint them black (my bike came with polished ones due to it was assembled in Thailand) and once the engline was almost opened I painted black also the tappet and pushrods, plus I put a S&S 465 cam and a 55 mm aluminum manifold.

The next steps will be the Denton fairing with 12" screen (arrived yesterday), the Leather Pros bags (found used here in Italy) and some carbon fiber parts (dash cover and sides).
I hope to put all of this within the end of the year and have the bike finished for 2022 (if it will ever be...).

Thanks.

I like the 465 a lot. A little more torque up to 2.500 and an “explosion” after the 3.000. I think the clutch is slipping a little when I wide open.
I chose the 465 instead of the more popular 475 because I’d like not to change the lifters and the oil pump that my mechanic suggested me to do in case, while was not necessary with the first ones.

I had no time to dyno it, I think I’ll do it next spring with a dedicated map.

why would you have to change the lifters and pump on the one but not the other? Just curious.

My mechanics said because the 475 is much more powerful and the stress for the lifters etc. would have been more than with the 465.

To me the standard 114 with the stage I was enough so I accepted the suggestion.
The performances increased anyhow a lot and the bike is really fun to drive.

O.k but what about the pump. You have the latest greatest oil pump.

S&S suggests the complete kit for the cam upgrade in which also the oil pump is included: https://www.sscycle.com/products/cha...-up-m8-models/

Finally the Denton fairing arrived here in Italy, I'm happy with the 12" windshield after a test ride on the highway, I don't need a taller one.
Now I'll paint it black.

I also found a pair of second hand Leather Pros bags and I put them on yesterday.
Happy with them, I just only dislike the two small plates under them, I think I'll trim them a little...
