I have the standard height holdfast sissy bar and the top of the rest is damn near at my wifes shoulder blades and it also gives a slight lean back so we have a lot more space between us now and she is angled more comfortably. The downfall I found was that the back side of the backrest protrudes enough that my viking sissy bar bag no longer fits on my luggage rack so I need to find a new bag for the luggage rack that can hold a helmet and other stuff.
