Yes it is, but it will fulfill the gap under the right bag that is 2" higher than in the Sport Glide, so maybe it won't be so bad looking in the end...

That's a fair point. My plan is to add a 2:1 pipe mounted as high as it will go, so a pipe with a fairly bulky end can on it will look better. I was thinking perhaps a D&D BobCat or the S&S SuperStreet pipe.
Interesting. I have the LRST on order in black - but I cam going to speak to my dealer and ask for the option to switch the order to an El Diablo depending on the spec/price when they announce it. I'm not really a fan of red, but HD may do something really cool here. I'm also not a fan of the price of the "Icons" bikes, but let's see what they end up announcing....
I kind of think that exhaust on a softail with bags will look good in fact different & certainly distinct. Especially the Sport Glide or LRS-T with the hard clamshell bags. Short pipes are in and I like them but they do lose some torque to long bagger exhaust systems. They lose some unrestricted sound control also. I don't mean quiet. In fact the Db reducer would likely need removed or modified. I just mean not so loud that you can't ride behind them all day. I like that it gives the size & length for more of a zero loss type system without the to the back of the tire length. It should be able to flow 150HP/150TQ efficiently with great sound. The description in the link is good. Considering its a full exhaust with mandrel bent larger diameter head pipes its price is reasonable. Especially If your dealership has the once a year 20% off special.
In fact Hunt I can get you 20% off this weekend only with Xenia's annual VIP thing. Get a 119ci kit with a Star Racing 30/30 cam and that pipe and put some excitement back into riding the SPORT Glide.
The first night after riding it you might have to come home and "affirm to the wife" that it was a good investment.

Tempting.
