Default 350lbs, which softail

I am looking to buy a new bike and on paper I think I want the low rider s. I am 5'10 350lbs and will mostly ride alone, but occasionally the misses will take a weekend ride with me.
the lrs has more suspension travel, larger gas tank which are pluses, but would need to buy 2up seat.
I also like the looks of the fat bob and fat boy, but don't know if I would like forward controls or floorboards.

Economically the street bob seems to be best deal

I have never ridden a Harley. My previous bikes were a 1983 kz550 and a 1999 Suzuki sv650.

Are any of these bikes better for fat guys?

Go take one for a ride. No matter what you’re gonna want to swap the rear shock at least. The lrs probs be a better match since it comes with slightly better suspension and brakes. I have a street bob but I’m also 5’8” 200. And changed the suspension first thing since it’s meh.

I'd say the Fat Boy or the Heritage. They're both bigger softails, and the new Heritage has better suspension. You might also want to check out the Deluxe.

You might also want to look at the bigger touring bikes, they're made for big fellas. If you just like the looks of the softails, I'd suggest looking at a Road King. You get the bigger frame with the look of a softail - no fairing.

Alright @52AllisCA I gotta say it . . . You're a good looking big fella Lol
I would think the Street Bob would be too small for you. The Street Bob feels like a smaller cockpit then say the LRS, Heritage, or every the Fat Bob or Boy.
The Fat Bob (I have one) has what I would call "Mid Forwards" as they are not that far forward at all. I'm 5'8" 29 inseam and it's perfect for me.

As others have mention a larger bike might be the way to go. The Heritage while on the softail frame seems larger. A Road King would might be the perfect fit for you. It's between the Heritage/Softails/Bobs and Touring sizes.

Good luck!

I'm taller but not far from you weight wise. My LRS is great. I would strongly advise an aftermarket rear shock. I installed the new Legend redo a mono shock and it is night and day different. Make sure the tech takes the extra few minutes with you sitting on it to adjust the shock.

Good advice on a Road King. Test ride a Road King before buying a Softail. You are a large man and need the heavier duty frame and suspension system than is available on any Softail. You can take the bags off for cruising locally and it will look more like a cruiser. If you ride 2-up much, see how it feels but plan to upgrade the rear shock with a Legend adjustable rear shock. Good luck.

IMO You will look best and fit well on the fat boy. Upgrade the rear shock.
