Tires on FXLRS
oh and that’s the response anyone answering my question with a question is gna get. Save ur cnn talk for Facebook
seems as if the sales ppl at Harley’s infiltrated the forums… (the lead designer already is on an interview saying they have teams dedicated to such for r&d)
Kinda reminds me of this current political climate, where the left wants to tell everyone how they should act speak etc etc .. naw **** that
As for the other stuff, like I said, nothing to do with politics, just general courtesy. I'm quite conservative in most regards, I'm often abrasive and colorful with my language, been that way since I was a kid and my play time in the desert only expanded my vocabulary. That said I know when to utilize my interpersonal skills, and when to be a dick. Most of the time, being a dick is unnecessary and will get you nowhere. I honestly hesitated to answer you, because of how you responded to others here. Only reason I was willing to share my experience was that I had this same issue and the wide range of responses frustrated the hell out of me, so I get that part. Treat people with common decency and they'll probably be willing to help with your questions... but by all means, if you feel you don't owe people a minimum level of respect, don't expect to get it in return.
I've considered running Shinkos, however I got a solid deal with my new bike purchase and tires for life. Free tires as long as I own the bike (just have to pay mount/balancing), however the downside to this is that if I burn too them too quickly it won't be covered lol, usually I barely make the cutoff, sometimes I don't at all.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Personally, I like Avon Cobras on HDs and typically get about 8K on the rear and 12K+ on the front. I am a fast, but smooth rider with a lot of advanced training so I am planning everything well in advance where possible and often use more acceleration sense to scrub off speed than braking. I don't do anything like burnouts or stunts.
I went with the Michelin again so we’ll see. Would’ve liked more options but front was still good.
I’ve had issues with tires getting eaten on various bikes (Dunlop, shinkos, Michelin). With shinkos not as much an issue but at almost $400 these days for a rear Michelin I have to figure this out. Idk if it’s just city riding or what but hopefully the last one was just a dud
