looking to get stage 2 upgrades for my 18 Fat Boy 114. I am fairly new to performance tuning on HD. Never went more than Stage I for any of the previous bikes i had.
I am looking for max power and reliability. The HD dealer i work with wants me to stick to Screaming eagle stage II instead of S&S. From what I have read, S&S has better performance and reliability than Screaming Eagle tune.
preference???
Also, anyone know how much it costs to get stage II from S&S?

You realize theres more to Stsge 2 than just tune?
assuming that you already have a complete stage one...exhaust, intake and a real tuner...not screaming eagle. Are you out of the warranty? Or don't care about it? Then s&s all day. You don't really need the s&s cam chest pieces..they're nice if you have the money but not a necessity.

i am out of warranty. Was thinking the same that the cams would do fine. I will also have the fuel pump upgraded to a performance one as well.
Since 2018, Harley has improved the oil pump on M8 engines. Multiple articles have recommended upgrading to the new oil pump for all Stage 2+ performance upgrades. The cost of upgrading the oil pump is significantly reduced since it is co-located with the cam chest.
