Dakota Digital Speedo
headaches are gone but congestion, coughing, and queasy stomach if I move around too much are still here. Doing better but not ready to head for Key West for the weekend.
I did take the bike out on the driveway in 84 degrees and really bright overhead Sunlight and played with the colors.
The ones that stood out the best to me were the dark green, red, and orange. If it was not Midday Yellow looks good.
I did notice one factor that affects seeing the items on the gauge. I have lowered the back about 1 1/2 inches and put a LePera seat on that is a little lower than stock. I am 5' 7".
I have nothing on my bike that would block any overhead Sun. In bright light when I am sitting relaxed, it does fade out the gauges. However, If I sit up a couple inches higher
I can see a lot that I cannot see normally. I guess this is due to the fact I am looking at the gauge from an angled view.
If I were taller it would be a different view. As the Sun changes position the view is better which is great because Noon is not my ideal riding time in Florida.
What would be perfect if someone made a short ( 2 to 3 " ) visor to fit on the front of the speedometer. I may experiment with that.
The positives on this speedometer totally outweigh any negatives. You may find other colors that are better for you.
Good luck.
