I m really a goat when it comes to this problem. How do I remove them?

I think the fronts should look like these but these are described as for the rear.

Yes, see what you mean, but they both mention, "The light pipe outer “signature” ring adds visibility and unique styling, while brilliant center LED elements flash with an eye-catching signal,"

So

Can you just confirm exactly what you've fitted and where? With part no's please.

Ok, so

One front signal, 67801184 has position light and turn signal?

One front signal, 67801184 has turn signal only?

You need to swap both signals over, left signal to the right and right signal to the left. This will show if the signal or the wiring is faulty.

If you have swapped both over and the signal that had position and turn, still has position and turn, then the fault is not wiring related.

If you have swapped both over and the signal that had the position light fault, still has the position light fault, that signal is faulty.

This takes two minutes to say and ten minutes to type so it reads logically

I would suspect Andy was right and the EU version doesn't offer the running light option then. The part no. isn't recognised by the US site.

If you really want running lights using OEM, then you would need someone to buy and ship them from the US. Failing that the aftermarket awaits

I will definitely check that, that's one of the reason why I went with oem signal because I wanted that position light.Trying to get in touch with the HD dealer in DK even if is easier to get in touch with the Queen 🤯.
Thank you for the help

I realise the one I got is amber/amber and the US model for my fxlr 2018 it should be 67801148 amber/white

The 2018 EU bikes (my FatBoy anyway) only have two wires going from 1156 bulb socket in bullet indicator down to the 4 pin JAE under the tank. US bikes with position and turn have 1157 bulb sockets and 3 wires in the cable.

The 67801184 doesn't say it has a position light, but says there is a "signature ring" ...whatever that is. Given there are only two wires best I can see is it flashing along with the centre LEDs

If you want positions on the front you will need new lights and cables down to the tank

This is the answer.

The connector in the neck of the bike does have three wires - IIRC black, blue and white. The black and blue are the ground and power for the turn signal. The white is power for position lights.

But - on EU bikes, the wiring from the connector in the neck to the turn signals is only two wires - the blue and black. If your replacement turn signal has three wires, and you bring all three back to the connectors in the neck and fit them accordingly, then you can run turn signals with position lights. If only two wires, then turn signals is all you get.

On my old FatBob, I fitted HeinzBikes LED turn signals with position lights. These had three wires, all of which went all the way back to the connectors in the neck of the bike. Turns signals and position lights, no problem.

By the way - how are you doing Gordon?
