A good aftermarket cam, tuner, intake and pipe with a competent dyno guy will out perform Harley's EPA 131.
well I think I will start with the v&H big radius as that seems plug and play to my current system, and just plan for cam and a new turner &intake next. Any advice on tuner? Im sure HD will only tell me about HD

I had asked around but everyone wanted to sell me cam and their tuner (over 2k all done) being I already did stage 2 with cam thru Harley thats a hard pull to swallow.
And there you have it. Everybody wanted to SELL you stuff. If they tell you it sounds good as it is, what is their wedge to part you from your money?
I just put a S &S 465 torque cam in and Bassani road rage 2 into 1 on mine and its a whole new animal! The idle sound is a little more aggressive but when I roll on the throttle, it is phenomenal!
I dont really think I could have picked a better setup for ME but Im older now and really dont care for that really loud sound, sitting at a light.
Not sure why a full pipe change over just slipons would sound dramatically different seeing as the cats are in the muffler
on the recent softail. I had khromewerks mufflers on my Heritage. Fit and finish was excellent. I originally wanted
Rineharts but they were back ordered at the time. From my experience a stock M8 at idle really doesnt sound much
different from exhaust to exhaust. Under power however is a different result. You start getting around the motorcycles
with a cam or more and the idle note really comes alive.

not sure I have ordered the big radius pipes and I will have the SE tuner adjusted, and hopefully after Xmas I will try to swing a s&s cam and zipper or power vision tuner and that should really make a difference
Another thing to keep in mind at least from my experience on both the Heritage and the Low rider when
you get to going and the wind noise start’s up I can’t hear anything else but the wind anyway 😂😂😂
