Some seats have 1 hole mounting and some have 2 hole. I have a sundowner solo with 2 hole mount that I was able to convert to 1 hole for my standard (fxst).

I tried one of my old 2020 Low Rider S seats on my 2023 Street Bob, it did not fit.

Is their any reason the sport glide or low rider-solo seat would not fit on a slim ?, I currently have the street bob seat on my slim.
Some bikes share seats. Some don't. For the Slim, it can share with the Heritage, Deluxe, Street Bob, and Softail Standard.

A Slim can't use a Low Rider, Fat Boy, FXDR, Sport Glide or Fat Bob seat.

You can go to a dealer and see if they have a used one on the lot, and ask to test-fit the seat from one of those bikes. Maybe the problem is, as said, the single mounting screw vs. the dual mounting screw; if that's the case, that's a relatively simple fix. But maybe it just won't fit. You gotta try it to know.

Default Seat thinks

I got tired of the same ol seat configuration. So instead started my own patent of design to fit my personality. It's a combination of control. Kinda like a mid engine vehicle. If you understand those concepts you'll understand my design.

There is also a length difference. Ran into that with demo seats on my '23 Heritage. Several were the wrong length and wouldn't bolt down. Though for the life of me I can't remember if they were too short, or too long. They would fit in the front, it was at the back there was problem. I kinda think the seats that didn't fit were too short, but I'm far from certain of that.
