Im kinda building my own scoot so to speak, already did a breakout drag bar swap, and eventually a 5 gallon tank swap. lol

How tall are you and what height is that windshield?

I put a couple of hundred miles on the new windshield (Memphis Shades Speed Demon); it did a really good job of keeping the wind off of me. Still, I want to try something a bit lower for comparison, to use as a daily riding screen. At some point, I expect that I will try out their batwing fairing for longer trips. One nice thing about Memphis Shades is that they have a lot of options, and all of the options should quickly mount and dismount using the same mounting hardware on the bike.

Picked up some bling bling for the Bob and installed it. Not much of a chrome guy but this stainless steel trim that Memphis sells makes the Bat wing look a little better . Simple piece of trim made a difference in my opinion

Yeah man, imma all about the chrome bling lol, in fact i yanked my black header pipes off my 21 bob for some chrome heritage shorty header pipes off ebay, then added some thunder torque inserts. But i had a black set of those relocation turn signal clamps like your, on my forks which i could never keep tight for some reason, decided to try out the 49mm dyna style hinge clamp that have the built in shield to hide the wires, look way better imho and come in black as well.

But im also scoping out bags i wanna go with, and think the batwing would look a lot better with bags, so any pics would be greatly appreciated.
I have the Memphis Shades batwing on a sport glide. Also have their wind deflectors.
Originally went with the 10" medium tint recurve from from Long Ride Shields and late last season ordered a 12" . 6'1" and no buffeting with either shield.

Nice SG, and nice pic, it definitely gives me the angle i was wanting on hand placement with the wings portion of the batwing. I chucked my street bob mini apes for some breakout drag bars last year, which looks as though my hands shouldn't feel like ice cubes when its chilly out.

PJ For reference with the 12" screen can you reasonably ride at some speed with just sunglasses and a ballcap or does the air move them too much? Perhaps they would make a taller shield by order as I'm 3" taller than you. How is the install and removal?

With the factory fairing and a custom 16" Gustafson shield plus their lower wing deflectors air flow, noise, coverage, is great so I've got it to where its functionally right at reasonable speed. But i'm still not crazy about the look of the shield not having enough rake which they really can't change. Plus its going to need some support high speed. I like what I see with yours. And the new LRST fairing parts are cost prohibitive so.. Nobody else builds anything that I'm crazy about.

Without a doubt, I find the new fairing to be well worth what it cost. Illinois does not have a helmet law and my goal was to be able to ride comfortably with or without a helmet. I have actually worn a ballcap with the brim facing forward up to 50-60 miles per hour before I figured I better turn it backwards or risk losing it. . Sunglasses are no problem.

Since my goal was to reduce the wind on my face and/or a full face, I purchased a simple bracket memphis shades sold at the time that allowed me to raise my headlight up an inch or two and forward an inch or two. This made it possible to raise the fairing and fairing

brackets as high as possible. Doing that was well worth it but it took a long time of trial and error to get the headlight in the perfect position.. If you look at the attached photo you can see the headlight bracket as well as the memphis shades bracket pushed up as high as possible. .

I would have liked the fairing to have more of the look of a street glide fairing with tighter lines visually and not quite so round from the front view. Other than that, it's great.

It is easily removable in like 60 seconds but I cannot remember the last time I took it off. With the brackets on, you will not be able to install your original fairing.

If you haven't already, you will need to relocate your signals.
