My 2021 Heritage has a fog light switch. I can leave them on or off. I always ride with them on - the more lights the better chance inattentive oncoming drivers have to notice me and not weave into me - a big problem in urban Minnesota. They love to drive off roadways and flip their vehicles. Never saw this anywhere else I lived or visited.
They're all LED so don't burn out quickly. I also waggle my lights at T-Bone intersection stopped vehicles.

Yes, but does your fog lights/aux lights stay on when you turn on the high beam. On my previous bike they did not and harley had a wiring adapter to make them stay on at the same time.
Hmm, I thought I noticed this morning my fog lights and headlights were all on when on high beam. Will have to check. I do like the turn signals going on when the brake light does.
I switched the rear turn signals to red LED's, and switched the tail light out to LED. When she applies the brakes the lights are super bright and are hard to miss.

They turn on with high beam but don't turn off when high beam turned off?
That I would question. I guess they come on with high beam now for maximum visibility, guessing engineers assume we want maximum lighting?
I don't ride at night so haven't tried this.

Yeah I decided to spend the money on LED turn signals. Getting them done in a few weeks on my 19 Heritage..
There are apparently various ways to configure them. And my choice involved an extra piece of equipment. Basically mine will be front on white ring all the time, then turn to yellow when turn signal is activated. Rear will be red ring or red solid (can't recall) all the time. Then turn to flash red when activated. I was sold by the brightness and the color change capability. And also the constant on in the rear like a touring bike. Note: Apparently also there cannot be color change in the rear. ie: Must stay red.

I asked about all that when inquiring about the LED turn signals and scheduling the engine guard work. See previous post.
So, I was asking about installing fog lights next year, lower mounting on the engine guard. I mentioned about them always on. Yes and no. Hopefully I understood their explanation correctly. You can force that but you need to add a switch on the bars since they are not permitted to be always on.
The engine guards will save you considerable aggravation and expense when you drop the bike. You WILL drop the bike at some point-usually dog paddling around the garage and not paying attention or something like that. Besides, the engine guard is an essential part of that "vintage" look.
I also don't like the location of the brake pedal. It's such a long reach, that my toe is pointed all the way forward and it's difficult to get any leverage on the pedal. As a result, I use the rear brake so little that I doubt I'll ever have to replace the rear brake pads.

I quit paying the Harley tax a long time ago. The tail light is from Custom Dynamics, and the LED turn signals are just cheap Amazon stuff that are surprisingly good.
Dropped mine once - while at the Dealer of course. Was in for upgrade, they asked me to move up a bit, so I walked it forward and kickstand didn't lock when I set it down and it fell. Pretty shocked. Never dropped a bike before. Embarrassing, too. Thankful I had engine and bag guards on by that time.
I dropped mine when I was parking it crossways in the garage behind my car. I moved it slightly to "square it up" and the stand partially retracted. Unlike my old Heritage, the stand on this new bike is so short that it's completely blocked from view by the left footboard. I sat the bike down and over it went, landing on the engine guard and putting a nice crease in the trunk lid of my car with the clutch lever. Thank heaven for paintless dent repair.
It's also a LOT easier to right a fallen bike with engine guards.
