Haven't picked up my new to me 2018 HC 107 yet. It is equipped with the HD moustache engine guard. My question is do I need the saddlebag guard for doing low speed parking lot cone practicing in case of a lay down?
Or if I just use the engine guard, what else on the bike will touch if laid on either side?
Long answer = If you lay it down then your saddlebags/panniers and perhaps exhaust system will get damaged. I've seen a couple of posts somewhere on here recently where one person went down and trashed their hard pannier and the other trashed their exhaust albeit the mufflers heat shields. (Both due to weather conditions and at slow speeds).
