Front fender for 21x3.5 120/70/21 20’ softail standard
So I’m in the process of looking for a new front Front fender for 21x3.5 120/70/21 20’ softail standard. Stock 19” fender won’t fit due to height and width of the tire.
every fender I see is for a touring bike with horizontal bolt pattern, but I’ve got vertical. (Same as fxsb). Anyone know if an adapter, or a good source for fender? I’ve checked with a number of places including Kodlin, hogworkz, advan black, rwg, no joy. baddad - might have an option for me if I buy unpainted and non drilled.
I’m open to possibilities but looking to keep the fender tight/ wrap, length I’m open..
thoughts - suggestions? The 70 sidewall height rules out a lot of the Chinese products on eBay.
I ran that rim size & tire on my dyna wide glide and loved it. I was lucky as the stock fender worked. It looked like a well built woman with a size or 2 too small of a bikini top. That’s why I kept it like that! Some are able to run the stock fender by just hogging out the fender bolt holes and raising it. You want at least a 1/4 “ clearance as the rubber will expand. Looks great 👍
