The little black insert that says Fat Boy on it, it's adhesive. I bet you could get one that matches that says Fat Bob.
Or I mean you could just keep fat boy on there if you want.
My one doesn't say anything. And it's a Harley official part.I'll post the number.....

I'm talking about the fuel gauge reading incorrectly after upgrading to the 5 gallon tank.
Oh The pics show you already have the fat boy console pieces just in black.
FatBob2018 was saying you'd have to find a way to mount the Fat Boy/Sport Glide gauge, and I was suggesting you can just get the center console to mount the gauge in.
I couldnt tell if those pics in your reply are of your bike or not.
And yeah I have a 2018 Fat Boy 114.

Yes that black and orange bike is my Fat Bob.That Harley part comes from Harley without and bike name or model code on it.Probably for people that swap consoles and or tank's.But thanks for the info.
Hello people.I recently swapped my 22 Fat Bob fuel tank to an M8 Sport Glide/Fat Boy tank which I believe is 18.9 litres or 5 gallons(The stock tank is 3.5/6 gallons). However it still reads 230kms after filling up.I spoke to a friend with a Sport Glide and his reads 335kms remaining at full capacity. Is this something a dealer can sort out?The fuel pump is the stock Fat Bob unit if that matters.
Im planning on a 5 gallon tank swap on my 21 bob myself, but from what i gather the fuel reeding will be off if i use my 3.5 pump since the sending unit on the pump that moves up and down to indicate how much fuel is different than the 5 gallon tank pump sending unit. Im pretty sure this is the case, since this was the case with another member who made a comment awhile ago about it correcting his reeding.
Yeah, if you're using the 5-gallon tank with a 5-gallon gauge from a Fat Boy, then it should definitely be working together so I can only assume that the problem is the 3.6-gallon fuel sender from the Fat Bob's fuel pump.
All my comments prior were assuming that you were using the Fat Bob's fuel gauge. Using the Fat Boy's is a whole different thing.
A new 5-gallon fuel pump assembly with sender is probably the answer to the problem, but please do keep us posted on what they say.

I've been told that the reading is off due to the BCM.This value is stored in the BCM....the 3.6 gallon vs 5.
