Default 16" mini apes heritage

Alright, so I think I'm going to grab some 16" mini apes for my 19 flhc to straighten up my back while riding. I love the lines of the bike and dont want to change it, but i need to for my back. Does anyone have pics of 16 inch bars on their fhlc? Just curious how it looks. Thanks!

14" Carlini Menace; 1.25". Fantastic fit for me. My wife got a good deal from a friend (long story) with her KST 1.5"

Finally installed khrome werks 16" apes with extended wiring, clutch cable and brake cable. I'm not liking the look to be honest but i did it to hopefully help my back pain issue. Havent ridden yet due to sleet. Fingers crossed. Honestly it made me sick to mess with the beautiful bike's stock looks.

I think it looks great. The Heritage looks much better with either apes or beach bars, in my opinion. Hope it helps your back. You can literally "hang" on the ape-hangers - thus the name - so that should help, but make sure the bars are tight.

Thanks for the input! The looks are throwing me off for sure (just never been my style) but we'll see how she goes with the apes! I kind of wish I'd have tried a back rest first before doing bars. But, I did put taller bars on my previous 1600 vulcan that really helped my posture/back while riding.

They look good. You’ll get used to them.

Yes, you should have gone with a backrest. However, I did install 4” risers on my Heritage, but the backrest helps, too.

Looks good to me, I'm sure you'll not even notice the difference after while.

Just curious because of your setup - how tall are you? I'm somewhere between 5' 10" and 5' 11". I just ordered the hogworks backrest too.

5’ 11” and I’m running the Grasshopper backrest.
