Default Hesitation below 2000rpm

Hey guys, bike is a 2022 low rider ST

Here’s the following mods

-wood 22xe camshaft
-wood directional lifters
-fuel moto PV4 tune
-5.5g/S SE fuel injectors
-fuel moto push rod kit
-SE billet oil pump/cam plate
-SE 55mm aluminum intake manifold
-s&s billet fuel rail
-stock heavy breather intake
-SPB fab 2 into 1 short exhaust
-SE spark plugs
-ccv routed to atmosphere

my problem is, it has developed a hesitation around 2000rpm. It’s not constant, it’s intermittent. I feel it when I’m taking off and I also feel it when I shift gears. It bogs for a second or two then picks right up like nothing is wrong. If I ride aggressive, it runs like a raped ape. There is no codes. I found fuel pressure to be high 66-68psi when it should be 54-62psi. I put a buddy’s whole fuel tank on my bike that was making 62psi to rule out fuel delivery and it still did the problem. My oil seems to smell a bit like fuel and the exhaust smells rich.

so far I have done the following;

-replaced injectors
-replaced intake manifold seals along with all the seals on the intake itself
-replaced plug wires with SE fat wires
-tried a buddy’s gas tank
-cleaned air filter and whole intake system
-replaced TMAP sensor

I have my tank off at the moment and I’m replacing the filters, strainer and regulator because of the high pressure. I’m also going to take the screamin eagle plugs out and throw a set of stock ones in to try. After that the only thing I can see it being is tune.

any insight? It has anyone else had an issue similar? Once I get it fixed I’ll be sure to post back with solution .

I'm half blind but those plugs look really lean to me . I would go with a different tune .

I would have looked at the tune before replacing anything. Can you data log with the PV4? If so, I would run some data logs until you get it do stumble. Send those logs to Full Moto. I bet they can straighten it out.

This is my next step. It just kind of happened out of no where so I didn’t suspect the tune. There really isn’t anything left, other than o2 sensors or the throttle body, but I’m sure either one of those would set off a code.

I thought the same thing, but the fuel smells made me think the other way around.

does it burble around town nicely between 1500 and 2000 revs... my stock one does.

2 into 1 short exhaust and tune? would be a guess looking at others dyno charts and experience

Yes, but at first it’ll studder then run smooth.

By "FM tuned" - what do you mean

Base map supplied, or
Base map supplied and copious logs and FM adjusted it for you

Either way it sounds like more of the second is needed, as mentioned above. But 2-1 can cause nasty dips around those revs if not tuned well if you have a look at others charts

FM tuned meaning I got a tune from fuel moto. I guess it would be a base map, was never told to send logs and send them back. Was only told when I bought my PV4 to send them a list of mods or changes I’ve made and they would send an appropriate map.
