Hi all,
I own a 2021 flsb and after installing risers I find annoying looking at the tank speedometer, but at the same time I don't want to relocate it leaving a hole and/or covering the hole with some plastic kit. So I was wondering if installing a second working speedometer (maybe by tapping or splitting in 2 the wires so the one on the tank will still work too) like a Koso-d2 on the handlebars could be doable? Am I tripping *****? TIA for all the feedbacks!
GPS Speedos are cheap and come in a variety of styles on AliExpress, the only speedo on my shovel came from there and has been really accurate over the past 5 years.
I feel like a gps speedometer would look out of place, also wanted to have all the infos like revs, odo and gears so that's why I did not consider it... Anyway thanks for the inputs! At this point, if running both at the same time wouldn't be possible, I'm thinking on going with the Koso-d2 on the bars, getting rid of the one on the tank and replacing the stock (now useless) tank cover with the chromed tank cover from the new Low Rider ST
You might call/e-mail NAMZ about a custom cable. They make
all kinds of speedo extension cables so they should be able to tell
you if what you're wanting will work (since the speedo/info is CAN-bus driven)

You don't think a second speedometer mounted to the handlebars will look out of place?
