So far i have no problem with the bars for comfort. Getting apes has crossed my mine. I had 10" on my SGS and 8" drag bars on my softail custom, both were very comfortable. More so the custom.
Keep me posted and a pic, of the 10" on the fatboy. If you dont mind.
Absolutely. I never get tired of showing off my ride

Apes installed. I posted a thread about it in this (2018+ softail models) forum called "added some apes"
Congratulations on your new Breakout and looking good. I have a 2024 and like your style speedo...24 has the tiny one that is kind of hard to see but I use my GPS for speed most of the time. I went with a 9.5" riser and dragster series bars and a very comfortable riding position.
When i went to the dealership, i was going in to buy a 24. It was the blue colour, at a dealer in Manitoba, they were going to ship it to Ontario. I liked the look of the heavy breather, better than the one on the 25's. I had read about the speedo being harder to see and the breather, kind of in the way, for your leg on the peg. They had a 25 at there dealership when i got there and got looking it over and heard about the changes. I got very interested in it and as they say, the rest is history.
Back at you. I'd probably be drawn and quartered in some circles for saying this, but the Fat Boy and the Breakout are the only two bikes I like in the entire 2025 lineup.
I test rode the Breakout same time as the Fat Boy and loved em both, but I've had 3 Fat Boys before this one and I'm just too old to change
One last bit to mod on mine. I've got some 10" apes and all the extensions. Probably install next weekend.
I used to have 16" but my shoulders dont like that anymore
I like the way the Breakout looks not so much on the Fat Boy never been a fan of that bike . I mainly ride two up and the Breakout isn't the best for that so I ended up with a Heritage. Best looking bike in the Harley line up is the Low Rider ST . The best all around bike is the Heritage.
Thats why they build different models, everyone has a different opinion. I ride solo 100% of the time, wife rides her own. In my mind, the Breakout is the best looking motorcycle in the line up. I like the look of the Low Rider S. I cant get past the look of the bags and the fairing on the ST.

If I rode solo I'd ride a Breakout but that's the reason I didn't buy a Lowrider St because I always ride two up .

Does the Break Out have the 117 that's in the new Heritage or the 117 HO that's in the Lowrider ST ?

The Breakout and fat boy are in the middle of the pack. There are three versions. Lowriders have the HO117. Breakout and the fat Boy have the custom 117 and the Heritage and street bob have the classic 117.
