No it doesn't work no matter what I do . I've used it several times so I'm familiar with how to use it . Has me baffled especially with no codes .
I was confused why you would make a point of saying as soon as I let go of the throttle it doesn't lock. In fact, I still have no idea what doesnt lock even means.

Well I guess I should have said it just doesn't stay engaged or stay on or whatever you want to call it . The bottom line is it's not working. Thanks for trying to help though .
I think it has something to do with the clutch switch. Today it wouldn't start with the clutch pulled first time for that . Going to look at it later .
Interesting, especially since it apparently left the dash light stay green.
For some reason, I've run into a small rash of people with clutch switch issues of late.

Yes it did turn green and also none of the switches ever turned green during the diagnostic check and I tried several times . The clutch switch was sticking and not popping all the way out . I actually ordered a new one to replace it .

I had an issue with not being able to start my 2018 Heritage in gear back in 2021. Turned out they had to replace that whole control assembly on the left part of the handlebar but it did not affect the cruise operation.
Two years ago my cruise would not engage or would disengage by itself.
Faulty brake light switch was causing the brake light to stay on therefore signaling that the brakes were on even though there were not.
Had the brakes switch replaced and its been good ever since..

When my front brake light was sticking on the red light on the dash came on . Did the light come on your dash ?
