Went out for a spin today to test these mini footboards and I am a bit desapointed, they raise my feets about one half inch, and that's not at all what I was looking for, quite the opposite, and the notches catch my shoes too much. I'll try positioning them further forward to see, but I think I'll go for the lowest pegs possible.
Probably right, or maybe something to do with additional weight on the front end or in the rear with luggage. As a follow up, I installed my Ohlins updated forks and adjusted the damping and preload per H-D. The bike rode badly, and I ended up backing everything off completely thanks to ChatGPT believe it or not...both damping adjustments and preload. The original preload was something like 14 turns for my weight, and I ended up with 8. Now its really good and much better than stock.
Agre with you about the shocks...
I will probably change the rear shock and fit cartridges in the front when I will be done with ergonomics, because I ride mainly on secondary roads, and the original suspension is very poor on this bike, even though they claim to have improved it on these new models.
Further developments on Ginger; I finally put the large leather saddlebag back on that I had on my old LRS and I'm going back to a configuration that I really liked...
