So what happened to the Heritage you were looking at? $1000 more and 4 years newer. If you worried about the height of the bike, there are solutions.
As of now stall in negotiations for 2022 Heritage. We are about $1000 apart (mine 12.5 vs seller 13.5) I offered to meet in the middle, he read the message but no reply. Fine with me as I am not in the rush by any means since still recovering from rotator cuff surgery last year so I wont mind waiting longer if needed. Bike was showroom floor condition with a lot of upgrades- really liked the upgraded seat. I priced out all the additions and ended up with about 4k of goodies. Really freaking tempted to buy this bike and if needed evel let it sit for a year with minimum riding this season while regaining strength. The fact that it was last year of full chrome is big teaser as I got 2 blacked out bikes (2019 Heritage and 2022 RKS) and ai said no more - love the look but prefer harder chrome personally) really sitting on needles to hear back from seller but also willing to walk away from the deal if I have to. It is buyer market plenty to choose from so win-win either way they want to sell it for last 4 months at asking 14.5k so this also tells me something.
Also is front suspension lowered on Deluxe comparing to Heritage?
Basically No, as the internals fork tubes & springs are the same, some confusion occurs as the complete front fork part numbers for 18 & 19 model years show the Heritage as different as the Heritage had black lowers, once the Heritage was available with chrome trim in the parts lists then show the non-black fork assemblies as the same!
There are some parts that are unique to that bike (i.e., the Cadillac-esque v-shaped light mounts). If anything should ever happen to them, you’re screwed.
Regards the turn signals, the actual LED units were also used on the FXDRs which there seems to be quite a few around second hand, I took the opportunity to buy up some removed from ones at a very cheap price, but an alternative would be to swop out the front for a Heritage passing lamp unit & turn signals as they have identical mounting, now regards the rear unit, whether it is possible to swap for the Heritage turn signal bar would depend on if it fits the Deluxe fender & tombstone light as the fender is not identical to the Heritage one!
So for example you were rear ended and need a new fender it may well be easier & cheaper to fit the Heritage one & lights instead of trying to track down a Deluxe one and lighting bar!

My Deluxe did get rear ended in 2019 and needed a new fender and one turn single unit, expensive, as they were new then and certainly no aftermarket alternatives but all in all not a big job!
If now and an issue regards getting the parts I personally would go down the heritage rear fender & light set up!
What was really annoying was that Turn signal fully functioned, just the amber lens smashed!
