Quick (maybe dumb) question....
Why is the Deluxe priced higher than the Hertiage?
Well maybe more than one question...
What would be a good out the door price on a 2017 Heritage ?
On a 2017 Deluxe?
Worth looking at a 2016 ???
Thanks,
Cloud
Its all marketing. When I bought my 2014 heritage It was 100 dollars more than a road king. HD just raised the price 700 dollars that year from the 2013s. I guess HD thought they could get that kind of money for them. Well one year later they lowered the price of the heritage 1000 dollars. Also the Deluxe is bike that is special to a lot of people. Its the lowest "big " twin you can buy. Also a lot of people who are looking for bike to Mod... well the deluxe is a great platform to start with...just my 2cts
Try $16.5 for a Heritage, it is a good start and some members have had that quoted as OTD in the black version. Some others had gotten that for a 2 tone. You just have to shop around for a dealer that is receptive.
They both are fly by wire and cruise. It's a good question, Deluxe has chrome floorboards, license bracket, tombstone tail light, yet no fender tip lights. Deluxe also has bullet turn signals, no bags or windshield and standard console.....go figure
the Deluxe has more chrome pieces, different floorboards also, a lot of people like the taillight and turn signal styling on the Deluxe vs the Heritage. Same engine, tranny, also the handlebars are different. The Heritage comes with a removable shield and saddlebags.
I remember Matt Laidlaw from Laidlaw Harley in California telling us the Deluxe was in fashion a few years ago and in high demand so Harley pushed the price up on them.
