Default Ginger my 117 FXLRS

Let me introduce you to Ginger, a nearly new 2025 FXLRS 117 High Output, which I acquired yesterday from Harley Davidson Borie, the largest dealership in France, located in Paris.

I was feeling nostalgic for my Low Rider S 114, so I went back to it, but this time in its latest version, with all the improvements made since the 2025 model year.
She's a Parisian, and I felt sorry for her suburban life (apologies to those who live in the city), so I decided to take her to the countryside where she'll have a better life.
She's magnificent in her "Brilliant Red" color, so I couldn't resist. Underneath that devilishly sexy red dress, she wears black undergarments that hint at a fiery temperament, but if you know how to caress her throttle delicately, she can be gentle and docile. I already love her.

So, I picked it up yesterday and rode back down to my region with it, and the return trip was tough, 500 miles in really unfavorable weather conditions, windstorm, rain, cold, the whole shebang, but she brought me back safely.
Thanks to the Borie dealership who offered me a good trade-in value for my RKS and who did everything possible to ensure that everything went smoothly.
Thanks also to two good friends of mine from the Paris region who traveled to share this moment.
So, there will be some changes to make it more to my liking, particularly in terms of ergonomics and aesthetics, but it will come little by little.

To be continued...

Yes, as we know, the red ones are faster! Lol... I'm the one who's slower.
But seriously, I'm planning to install a Kraus plate to set the bar closer to me. Do you know if I need to change the wires and cables? I intend to keep the original risers.

That's a very NICE bike - enjoy

WOW! blast from the past for me - Borie was my "local" dealership when I lived in France (Dept. 91 Essonne) back in the mid-late 90's
I personally knew Michel and Harriet, and the team.
Good to see that they still sponsor the Paris Sud Est Chapter of HOG (of which I was a member back in the day - j'etais le sacre rose beef)

EDIT: My old gilet signed by ZZ Top in 1996 when we escorted them to FNAC for the reveal of their Rhythmeen album

Great choice. The red was high on my list and I would have had a tough decision if they had one available when I bought mine.

I have risers on order and found this page useful for planning out my install. https://originalgaragemoto.com/blogs...GzomuE6YrQPHwR

Ultimately I think I will go with LA Choppers risers extensions, I have a friend of mine who has done the mod and no need to change cables and wires...
