I doubt it, it hasn't worked so far.

I was referring to the rude awakening.

Is that wishful thinking?

I had a 2020 S1000XR. I really like the bike but could never get used to the seat. I even had Sargent Cycle do their Revolution seat upgrade on it which improved comfort substantially. However, I still didn’t like going on long rides with it so I sold it. I should have had a Russell Day Long (RDL) saddle made for it. I am sure the comfort from having a RDL on it would have been a game changer.

I agree, the seat sucks, I tried to get Mean City Cycles to do it and they said it was not big enough for them to make their system work correctly. I have looked at all the seats available, at this point, since I already have two, I am going to redo one of them myself.
I found the correct foam layers that Mean City Cycles uses, so I'm going to give it a shot. I have all the tools anyway.
this is a link incase someone wants to do a Harley Foam for motorcycle seats.
