Default Lower fairing engine guard

Does the replacement engine guard fit with the stock cooler cover? Waiting for my lowers to come in and don’t want to replace the engine guard if the cover for the cooler doesn’t fit with it.

You should be able to fit the plastic radiator cover on with the new engine guard in place.

You need to take the plastic cover off to remove the engine guard.. I did my lower install all at once, so the cover never went back on.

But I did take a few photos to document the procedure. In the shot below, the stock engine guard is on the left and the new one is on the right. You can see they fasten in the exact same place. The new guard is the same diameter and doesn't seem to have any bends that might interfere with the plastic radiator guard...

Thank you for the “hope” I just don’t wanna ride around with this engine guard too long without the lowers on them. Should have just bought an ultra. 🤣🤣

I installed the new engine guard on mine while I was waiting on the fairings to ship too and also had no problem re-installing the radiator cover.

When the Whiskey Fire fairings were finally delivered 5-6 weeks later they were damaged, so my dealer had to order another set and I had to wait another 5 weeks.
