Default Demo Truck Day(s)

St. Charles Harley Davidson has the Demo Truck there yesterday and today. Road the Street Glide CVO ST- bike rode nice, but hated the handlebars, wrong wrist angle and to wide for a sporty bike, the throttle was to twitchy in first and second, no feel to the grip, it would twist with no effort at all and bike was in Road mode, the Road Glide Limited - the bike I would get if spouse would allow, I've got a bad left ankle and cannot use the heel toe shifter arrangement, but other than that the ergonomics is great (once I added a back rest), and the Road Glide CVO ST - best fit of the 3, back felt great, ergonomics was spot on, throttle felt great (it was also in Road mode. They have exhaust specials, Saddleman has a vender there, this morning Pancake breakfast and a wireless Comm seminar, they will be giving away a Comm set at the end of the seminar.

Our dealer had demo days 2 weeks ago. I also rode the Street Glide CVO and agree with you on the wrist angle. Great bike otherwise though. I then rode the road glide limited and really liked this bike, but the factory seat pushed me too far forward. which is a shame because it's a nice seat and comes heated. FYI, I bought a new Street Glide Ultra in October 2025 and had to install a HD tallboy seat for the same reason. Our dealer did not have any aftermarket vendors on hand other than food trucks, but it was a great annual event that our dealer sponsors every year.

I will never forget the Demo Truck in Deadwood a few years ago during the Sturgis Rally!

They were really pimping the Live Wire with Zero Emissions.

Of course, it was all about reducing the Carbon Footprint.

The image I will never forget was the plume of thick black smoke billowing out of the diesel-powered generator recharging the live wires.

Yes, maybe the Live Wire was Zero Tail Pipe Emissions but....

Not just HD. All these ******** who pat themselves on the back about saving the Earth with their stupid EVs never seem to actually think about where the majority of electrical power comes from (lets not even bring up the environmental catastrophe this EV BS is creating).
