Default led turn signal and brake all in one

Ok I use some track lights I had that where no good I took the guts out and got a 1157 LED bulb and socket. Hooked up the running lights as normal, the brake lights to where the turn signal would go, then I used a couple normally closed 12v relays for the turn signal I ran a ground wire throw the relays that what when the turn signal would normally get brighter it would now cut off like a trailer turn signal would. I had to tape the 1157 socket up so it would not get a ground from the light housing. You can mount the lights where ever you want to. You can also do this to stock turn signals with red lenses you just have to find a way to insulate the ground on the stock one. I used the track light because I had a buddy drop my bike. I know major biker fowl. But it all good I got some cooler looking light out of it.

No problem, just glad I had something to throw out there. There was a lot of stuff I never thought about. But will be trying for sure. If I can figure anything ells out I will defiantly post it.

Help! I started reading this threat and I can't stop... thank you MUD for starting this. A lot of good stuff here. I can't seem to pull myself away, and I'm only on page 55. But I do need to get on with the rest of my life so I guess I'll have to continue later...

Default side mount license plate using factory bracket.

OK here ya'll go a side mount license plate using factory bracket. First take your bracket off the fender. Using the first pic as a refrence cut off the portion of the bracket in the red box. After that bolt 1 to 2 as seen in the third pic. Then it just bolting it down where the belt guard rear bolt is, putting the license plate, chrome frame on and your done. All this was free the bracket I had and the frame came from riders club they send them out for free. Enjoy!

I moved my shield out 1/2 inch at the top but it made no difference. I also tried moving it up to the highest and down to where the head lights were partially covered and still no difference. I’ll try OsoFat's suggestion as soon as the weather permits.

Default seat reshape and recover

Here ya go, I got bored and was wanting a new seat but no money figure that. Yeah I found a web site that shows you everything you need to do. http://www.diymotorcycleseat.com Here's pics of what I came up with. The color I know doesn't go with the bike right now. The Bike is going Bahama blue with green variegated leaf flames. I think it will match that a little better if not there's always die. OK back to the project I used my stock seat, a electric turkey knife, and a lazyboy recliner that the seat was destroyed (found on the side of the road during bulk pick up). I used the the back of the recliner it was still good.

Default Crankvent repair

I'll catch hell for putting this here, but I figger a buck saved is a buck.
Went to mod my carb for the pipes and breather and found BOTH the hoses split on the crank breathers, and wanted to ride today. Before I got to the Hog shop, I was looking at the thing and noticed that the hoses are a perfect "S" - so here it is with one of them simply turned around; but why are they split on an '05 with only 4800 miles on it?

I got to ride today.
