Great thread guys. Was wondering if Vance & Hines big shots are legal in Ca? What happens to the cats with any full exhaust other than slip-ons and if going with Rush slip-ons is a 2" baffle much louder than a 1.75? Another question; who makes a good quality bag set. I just ordered a license plate and turn signal relocation kit so I can mount rear bags but don't want to buy the farm while doing it. I'll post some pics of my ride soon.

Trying to make up my mind on a seat now. I really like both the Corbis and the Mustang 2 ups. Dont want to spend the extra money on the corbin, but dont wanna be moved forward like some guys say happens with the mustang. HMMM!!!

I think the only legal aftermarket pipe you're gonna find is the slip-on from Screaming Eagle, and a LEO might still look at you twice.

Deadduck's = awesome ride. Any issues with removing the belt guards, looks pretty clean without them and what pipe are you running, is it a thunder head and do the shields come with it? Beautiful WG!

It is not in the mufflers itself. If you remove the 2 mufflers you will see the cat looking at the lower header pipe!! It looks just like fine steelwool to me...
Included see the mods I did to my exhaust system.
1. Standard bafffles taken out.
2. "rings" made on lathe.
3. bought a lenght of 2inch baffle pipe
4. Welded new baffle pipe and rings
5. Installed new baffles (fibre cloth wrapped around baffle before installing)
My WG now has 2x2inch pipes in the mufflers, sounds glorious and I cannot detect loss of any low down torque - total cost was $40!!

Got the XIEDs coming in the mail shortly... may or may not do an open filter intake/better tuning over the summer
