I finally decided it's time to do my air ride suspension. It's just gotten too hot to ride out right now in Arizona. I was going to order a Shotgun Air Ride System, and was surprised to learn that it's now selling for $1,550 dollars. That's more than the SAS system. Why the huge jump in price? I thought this system was selling for around $1,100 around 6 months ago??? Am I wrong? I know air ride loyalty is strong and touchy with people here, so let's try not to get our panties in a bunch. One of my buddies I ride with out here has the system and loves it, and paid a $1,000 for his system less than a year ago. What gives??? I'm not bashing their set-up; I'm just curious why the huge jump in price???
There was a seller who had purchased numerous units direct from Shotgun and was blowing them out on ebay. That is how they were offered at such a low price. My original price was the entire point of contention with them as to why I cannot offer their product. So be it. My goal was to get it to everyone here at a great price.
I have the Arnott Air Ride on one bike and the Legends on another bike. The Arnott is $1,100.00 and the Legends is $1,250.00. Both are excellent with no problems since installation. I have had the Arnott for just over a year and the Legends for about 2 1/2 years
For your best price I would call them and talk to JD personally. The advertised retail price has always been $1550, I believe. Same with most companies, what their MSRP is and what you can get them for usually differ.
EDIT: When I bought mine a couple months ago there was a backlog of orders for them, so calling will also probably be your best bet for finding out current availability.

Calling and speaking with the owner is always your best bet. Tell him you found out about it on the forum, sometimes that can help as well, and of coruse let him know you will do a write up with pics once it is installed. Work it!
