Where are you mounting the toggle switches?

Not toggle but pressure on/off button (like the one used in our OEM odometers)

You can see it on the left grip right on the controls housing screw:

my led switch is on the coil cover when the samsons were installed it had to be moved from the bottom of the cover to the top

I installed the aux switch system for additinal switches for my air ride. Didn't use the switches from HD but the toggle switches on a blanking part, but the housing fits nicely

I used HD part 70248-02B ($34.95) for the switch housing and 71718-02 ($13.95) for a switch on my bike. They match the other things on the handle bars and are easy to use when riding. The housing holds three switches.

I bought one of the old school spare spark plug holders and drilled a hole in the end of it and put the switch there. They were made to mount on the frame downtubes but the newer bikes tubes are too big so I put it up on the handlebars. I use it for my passing lamps and keep a spare set of plugs in it as well.

i have my heater control and garage door opener on the left side of the console. if the lights are to be on when parked why not connect to the acc side of the power on the ignition switch?

My air switches are on top of the coil cover
