Default 1995 Road King air shocks leaking oil

I have a 1995 road king and one of my air shocks is now leaking oil. I guess after 16 years I got my monies worth! The OEM part number for 95 RK is 54531-92. I was wondering if the new part number 54565-97C will work as a replacement part. They are very common on e-bay at a fair price. Any suggestions?

Smile Thanks for the help on the shocks

The OEM part number for 95 RK is 54531-92, the newer part number 54565-97C will work as a replacement part. Maybe someone can use this since no one seems to know. This one was free TT.

Hi - In the off chance you see this, how did you confirm that is true?

One of mine is leaking on my 1994 ElectraGlide.

Thanks.
