One other quick question, as you are standing at the rear of the bike looking forward, which part of the battery box is the best side to run the wires up thru...it all looks congested in there? LF, LR, RF or RR?[/QUOTE]

I ran mine up threw the right side of the battery box ,foot brake side if you will ,plenty of room and easy to get at ,mines a 99 though!

The project is complete, here are 2 pics of it slammed. Although I am not a big fan of the slammed look, it doesn't look to bad. I bought these for a slight drop in height and a super smooth ride. Next up will be a set of Intiminators to compliment the Shotgun suspension.

Here are a few pics I took during the install.

I ended up routing the harness up thru the right rear corner of the battery box. I have the security system on my bike, underneath it is a slot to mount the siren. This slot was perfect for zip tying the relay.

And here is a pic of the wiring just before I raised the up into place.

Over all, the install was pretty easy and would have went a lot quicker...but I am very **** and wanted to make sure all wires were secure and not going to rub or get pinched.

My test ride was a whole new feeling on the bike, it seems so smooth and I even went down a known bumpy road and it rode like butter!!! To bad it started to rain and sleet or I would still be out there

Off to update my sig...

Looks great!!! You will love that Shotgun. I usually run mine fairly level. Slammed looks real good but it's not for me. Enjoy!
