Looking for a good home in san diego for
My daughter’s chinchilla. I currently have a year and a half old male chin. Our chin was given to my daughter a year ago. I named him Terd when we got him. My daughter since has entered high school. With schooling and volleyball, she didn't have the time to dedicate to the little guy. I decided I would care for him. However, I have a very busy schedule with work; I also run a small business (mix martial arts, mma). I train mma four times a week, work, plus court issues, time for Terd is limited.
I built a very large play pen for Terd and moved him from my daughter's room to a loft I have next to our master bedroom. Well, I ran into a problem two nights ago. Terd decided he could jump out of the playpen and take a stroll. The stroll led him to cross paths with my German Sheppard dog who was down stairs. Luckily, my dog is getting up in age and the Terd can really haul *** when scared. Terd was able to get up stairs and hid under my bed until I was able to get up to the bedroom and secure my dog.
I feel terrible about surrendering him; I am a total animal lover. I have become extremely attached to our chit bag, but I know he isn't living the happy life he could have with someone who has the time and space for him.
I have a cage, toys, food, everything needed for the Terd. Terd is healthy and has no medical issues. If anyone has experience with chinchillas and would like a little guy, all I'm looking for is a good home for him. If anyone is interested, please PM me. Id like to talk with you first to make sure Terd is going to a good home, where I wont have to worry he will be put up for adoption in a few months, or sold. I'm looking for a permanent home for him.
