Default Amp mount for 2014

I'm about to upgrade from a 2-channel to a 4-channel amp. I want to get one of the mounting plates for a cleaner install. When I installed my current amp I had to remove the two unused connectors from the top of the HU and tuck them beside it to make room for the amp. The amp I'm upgrading to will be slightly larger and I was going to get a plate to mount it on. Has anyone used one yet? My questions are do they raise up off the HU to allow me to put those unused plugs back into their proper position? Also, it obviously would mount over top of the GPS antenna. Does that need to be relocated, or will it still get signal with an amp plate on top of it?
