I'm on my third Sony, first was non-marine but had the biketronics cover and stopped working after a few weeks because of moisture I assume. Next was a marine and it worked great and I loved how easy the display was to read compared to the non marine style. Nothing was wrong with that unit except it wasn't Bluetooth. So now I have the Sony marine with Bluetooth and I love it. It also has an app you can download to your smart phone so you can make tuning adjustments right from your phone. Pretty nice feature if you have a high powered system to tune. Current model is a Sony MEX-M70BT.

I'm running a Kenwood X998 and I really like the HU. It was 4V preouts, front and rear USB ports. The BT is super easy to hook up to your phone or Ipod. I also use a V-Twin rain shield with it too. So many choices...

Bringing this back up. Kinda like hearing all the real life experience vs. advertising hype. Thanks all for any thoughts.
