Thank you sir. I really want the BT 7.1's but they'll just have to wait. The JBL's I had wouldn't hold up to the pressure I put on them so it's time to get the Infinitys I wanted to begin with. Now I'll just have to figure out how to run the 2prs of the 62.11's and the Kickers in the TP off of the 520.D.
Thank for your insight Gannicus it is much appreciated.
2010 Limited with some stuff!!
The infinity's are two ohm speakers and the Kickers are 4 ohm. You won't be able to run all six on the soundstream unless you run em in series so the amp sees 4 ohms on the infinity's and 8 ohms on the kickers. Won't sound as good if you do that. Best thing you can do is add another set of Infinity's in the rear pods and run em off the HU. Of course you won't be happy with that set up either. So the next decision you will have to make is. . Do I want to buy another amp to run two speakers? I see lids in your future. . . lol

Bringing this back up because I'm finally getting off my *** and doing something about these speakers. The 7.1 pods are up for sale for best fair offer. Are the 7.1's 2 ohm speakers? Is that what I should be looking to simply replace these with? I'd like to just be able to hook up some speakers to the wiring I already have running back there from the Titans. Thanks again
Gannicus do you have a pic of the 62.11's in the rear pods? If I remember right they screw to the face of the pods, over the leather right? Did you have to enlarge the hole in the pods?

I do have a pic of the infinity's in the rear pods somewhere. I'll try to dig it out for you tomorrow. On your 2013 they should drop right in. But some guys have had to use a spacer for them to seat right. The 7.1's are 4 ohm speakers. and yes they screw right into the leather on the pods. No need to enlarge the holes. Just a 1/16 drill bit to get the holes started for the screws.

What size are those kickers?. I don't really want to change the seat, I know what your saying, I love the sound that I get with the titans but with the stock pods back on I don't have to worry about the seat and I can take all the stock plugs that I have stuffed under the seat and hook them back up. I've thought about moving the tour pack back a little bit, I'll look at that today and see how hard that would be to do, I just don't want it to look like it's hanging way off the bike

Yea if your could post a pic that would be great. If I went with the 4 ohm kickers, can I just drop the speakers in and hook up the wires or are there other things that need to be done? Sorry for my ignorance but Im audio challenged. I thought that components of different ohms didn't play well together
I have the same problem with my Ultra seat, just made an appt. with Mean City seats to take an inch of height and trim around the passenger area where it runs on the pods. I'm committed to keep those babies. I will report back how that worked out.

Yes Sir they drop right in. No issues on the ohms as long as your amp is 2 or 4 ohm compatible. Nothing extra you have to do. Rear inputs from the HU the input side of the amp and rear speaker connections to the speaker side of the amp.

Not what I wanted to hear. I have a seat already modded by MCC and now I'm concerned the BT pods are going to be even more of a fit problem than with the stock seat.
