well today we took the stereo out of my buddies Street Glide 2007. He's been hearing a rattle in his bike for years now we could not figure out what it was. When we took out the stereo we heard a noise jingling it. So we said screw it and took the radio apart it had a factory Harley key in it. He has had this bike brand new he has never taken it to the dealership or anywhere to get it worked on he does all the work himself. The key did not fit his bike.the key was too big to go into the CD slot so we are wondering how in the hell did key end up in the inside of the stereo. Just some food for thought since it's winter time. I bet none of you have ever heard of this I know I haven't.
I'll bet there are a lot of stories like this. I bought my 06 new in Oct 05.
Other than the 1000 mile service, the dealer never touched the bike.
In the summer of 09 I took the tank off to replace the fuel line inside and found this (the black tubing with clamp) laying on the rear rocker box.

I bet your right . You never know what you will find. Nice pics I should have taken a video of use ripping the radio apart.
