I just picked up a 2014 limited and want to upgrade the speakers. I have a J&M 250 watt amp and speakers that took off of the old bike. My ? Is do I upgrade to the new Rokker speakers or 7.1 or RF 6.5. Do I need to get the 500 or 600 watt amp or just run 2 250 watt amps. If I get the 500 watt amp, am I pushing 125 watts to each speaker.
I want to be able to hear @ 80mph clear, concise and sing along if needed.
Thoughts?
And yes I have read every audio thread I can find.

If you want to keep the JM amp my suggestion would be to run that amp with two infinity 62.11i speakers in the fairing since you already have it and buy an additional 2 channel amp. $$$. On the other hand you have an ULTRA LIMITED with four speakers to amp. It would be much easier to go with a 4 channel amp and four Infinity's. That will give you clear and concise @ 80 mph. Singing optional. . . lol
