Default New BT Install

I ordered a bunch of goodies from BT last week for my 05 Eglide and am wondering if you guys have any tips for this install. I'm no newbie to stereo install as far as wiring etc. goes, I'm mainly interested in hearing about any amp/speaker/pod install tips. Considering the weather in MI this time of year I'm in no big hurry to do this.

Here's the stuff going in.

BT interface
4180 amp (in the fairing)
7.1 Pro's
7.1 pods for the TP (I want these to be quick disconnect)
Head unit yet to be decided on, most likely Kenwood

Thanks,
Rick

If you're familiar with audio wiring you should be good to go. I wanted the TP on my 04 to be quick disconnect because the OL didn't ride with me as much then. I spliced in a 4 terminal trailer connector that tucked in under the seat near the frame.

Directly on top of the head unit with the double sided tape that is premounted on the amp.
Did you look at the BT instructions that came with your purchase or checked out their videos? Their instructions are extremely simple and clear.

The 4180 will come with 2 strips of 1/2 inch sticky material on the bottom of the amp. You simply press fit the amp to the HU. If you want to secure further use industrial velcro. Works great!

Of course not, what fun is that? Actually I haven’t received it yet. I just thought maybe you guys had found a different way of mounting it.

Thanks,
Rick
