Default Length for power cables.

Anybody have a good idea of the proper length for the power cables from the battery to the head unit. I don't keep my bike at my home in the winter but would like to solder up my cables so they are ready to go the next time I go out and work on it. Its a 2010 Limited.

Thanks,
Mark

I purchased 8 feet each for power and ground at Home Depot for 39 cents a foot. More than enough. Every audio place only had kits or 35 foot rolls. I suffer a bit from OCD so it had to be red for power, black for ground. So I would have had to buy 70 feet at the other places.
